To My Taxi Rider

Dear Student,

I don’t know your struggles. I don’t even know your whole story. What I do know is you are amazing at hiding the very things that try to bring you down. You have an amazing way of coping with whatever life deals you, and I am so proud of you for your push and your drive.

You are going to be something big, something great. You may be one of the smartest kids in your entire class, and you play it off very cleverly. You’re so smart, and you make me laugh daily. You see, you have a gift. A way of making others laugh and making light of heavy situations… This quality isn’t gifted to many. Like I said, you’re destined for greatness, kid.

I pray for you. I pray that you never lose that light, your passion for education, your drive to succeed, your ability to make others laugh… I pray that you continue to face your adversities head on and overcome every obstacle life throws at you. I pray you find your purpose. I pray for your heart and your soul. I pray for God to use you to light up the world like I know you can. I pray that you take hold of your strengths and use it for amazing things. I pray you always find the best in every situation, no matter how hard it may be sometimes.

I pray for you all the time, kid.

You have so much potential, and I can’t wait to see how you use it all… I can’t wait to see what you become…

And one day… one day, you won’t have to rely on taxi cabs anymore.

❤️❤️ you are such an inspiration to many. You always see the best your kids. You have that gift of pushing others to see the gift they have in themselves. Never ever change
